"Marvel Rivals" has already launched Deadpool, but Wade Wilson is not alone as the character himself mentioned two more coming in the future.
'Marvel Rivals': Deadpool Teases 2 New Characters
Season 6 is here, but one important detail that was unveiled in the recent Developer's Spotlight for the current season is the arrival of new characters to "Marvel Rivals."
The teaser was shared by none other than Deadpool himself as, during the Dev Vision Vol. 13, the Merc with a Mouth took the spotlight and yet again broke the fourth wall.
Here, Wade Wilson talked about how he is the only character in the game that is a "multi-class," and bragged about having three roles, including Duelist, Strategist, and Vanguard.
He then went on to say, "And Colossus and Juggernaut will lose their minds knowing I'm going to be a Vanguard first."
It is important to note that Colossus and the Juggernaut are not yet available in the game, and they have not yet been mentioned by the developers in previous spotlights, other announcements, or teasers before this.
Deadpool's teaser also highlights the keyword "first," saying that he became a Vanguard in the game ahead of the two obvious candidates, Colossus and the Juggernaut.
Vanguards are known for having high health and defenses and are otherwise known as "tanks" in other games.
Colossus and the Juggernaut's roles in the comics mirror the same classification as they mostly head to the frontlines because of their immense size, power, and durability.
The X-Men Roster Is Expanding on 'Marvel Rivals'
These two characters teased by Deadpool already add to the list of characters from the "X-Men" universe that are poised to join "Marvel Rivals" in the future.
That said, the next character to join the game is Elsa Bloodstone, a monster hunter whose powers come from the Blood Gem artifact, and she has significant connections to Deadpool in the comics. She will be arriving coming this Season 6.5.
That said, characters like White Fox, Devil Dinosaur, Colossus, the Juggernaut, Black Cat, and Cyclops are all speculated to arrive soon on "Marvel Rivals."
