Lego Batman 3 Beyond Gotham Comic Con New Cast Trailer Takes You Behind The Scenes With Adam West; 60s Batman Mode Revealed [VIDEO]
Fresh off the heels of an all new Comic Con trailer showing off the cosmic ramifications of their latest, Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, the fine folks at Lego are giving us a sneak peek behind the scenes with the cast and crew.
Look, everyone understands that Batman is an inherently dark figure. Thank you, Christopher Nolan. What makes the Lego games stand out is that, even if Will Ferrell may disagree, these things are for kids and kids want to have fun. The entire assembled voice cast of the next chapter in the Lego Batman saga are having fun. Because what's more fun than playing dress up as a giant bat? Voicing the guy who dresses up as a giant bat.
Venerable voice actors Troy Baker, Dee Baker Hall, Laura Bailey, Travis Willingham and Batman himself, Adam West, all get to wax ridiculous on their experience voicing these rather silly characters.
When the cast and crew are having fun, you can bet that the finished product is going to be fun, too.
In addition to your standard, soon to be Zak Snyder-ized Justice League characters, the fine folks at Warner Bros Interactive are opening up the DC universe a bit. Players will have access to a whole bunch of the C and B level characters, including Arkillo, Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, Hawkman, Krypto, Mr. Mxyzptlk and more!
The game will also be getting a new 1960s original Batman mode, in honor of the one and only Adam West making an appearance. A ridiculous superhero game meeting a ridiculous superhero tv show? It is a match made in heaven!
Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will be releasing this autumn for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PS Vita, Wii U, 3DS and PC. Check out all the goofiness from the cast in the trailer below!
