Halo Spartan Strike Now Available On Steam, iOS, And Windows Phone
Halo: Spartan Strike has today launched on Windows, Windows Phone, and iOS.
The mobile top-down shooter from Halo developer 343 Industries and Vanguard Games is now available across multiple platforms for $5.99. The title is available on Steam, iPhone, iPad, and Windows Phone devices.
Set during the events of Halo 2 on New Mombasa in 2552, Halo: Spartan Strike is a new story in the franchise. As a Spartan supersoldier in a classified ONI simulation, players can delve into 30 missions while leading UNSC troops through cities and jungles with an all new arsenal of weapons, abilities and vehicles.
The title is obviously different from the traditional full-shooter console experience, and offers more pick-up-and-play gameplay. There's the full campaign to play through, as well as competitive multiplayer components like weekly challenges and online leaderboards. You can unlock a special emblem nameplate and avatar in The Master Chief Collection for your accomplishments, as well.
There's also a bundle available that can get you an extra game (for an extra cost). The Halo Spartan Bundle includes both Halo: Spartan Strike and the original mobile Halo title, Spartan Assault. This packaged deal will run you $9.99.
