‘No Man’s Sky’ Guide, News & Update: Unavailable Game Features Unless You Go Online

A lot of fans have celebrated when "No Man's Sky" has finally been released. However, it seems like players cannot play game to its full extent if they opt to play it in offline mode rather than having it online.

Players could see the work of other players, travel and trade resources with them if the opt to play the "No Man's Sky" game online. However, these game features are not available in the offline mode. Below are some more feature players will not be able to access if they choose to stay offline:

'No Man's Sky' offline mode forbids players to meet other players

Hello Games provides "No Man's Sky" players a very small chance of meeting other due to the vastness of its universe. For starters, the "No Man's Sky" universe has a total of 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 planets with several solar systems.

Aside from the very huge size of the play area, Hello Games did not also support multiplayer gameplay for the "No Man's Sky" game. Hence, players cannot participate in player-to-player trading with the absence of internet.

Despite this, "No Man's Sky" players could always talk and trade in with NPC aliens. However, it is important to note that this will take so much time as players have to find monoliths so they would understand them

Players of the 'No Man's Sky' have less chance to share discoveries

Since the chance of meeting and communicating with other players in the "No Man's Sky" game is low, gamers will also have lesser opportunity to see the discoveries of other players when offline. In other words, the game will not notify the gamer if somebody has already arrived in a planet before anyone else and has renamed the creatures and the planet itself.

Truth be told, this is the main multiplayer aspect of the "No Man's Sky" game. However, this will not matter to gamers if they prefer solely mapping out galaxies. Offline discoveries will be uploaded once the player goes online.

Players can still enjoy the "No Man's Sky" game even if they are using it in offline mode. However, it is also important to note that players who keeps on playing offline will not be able to participate future "No Man's Sky" multiplayer events. So, make sure to get connected every once in a while!
