Now, the PS 4.5 Neo is rumored to be more compatible for graphic intensive games and even the next generation of gaming Virtual Reality or more known as VR. As of the moment, PS 4 owners would need a third party device or a secondary box in order to use VR for the PS 4.
The new PS 4.5 Neo will still have 8 Jaguar Cores same as the PS4. However, it is now clocked at 2.1 GHZ, the same amount of memory at 8GB but is now made faster with a speed of 218GB/s and a better AMD GCN that now runs at 36 CUs at 911 MHZ. With the increased performance in the hardware department, the PS 4.5 Neo is expected to perform well in 4K games and provide high stable frame rates on 1080p.

Well, reports claim that the PS 4.5 Neo will release real soon. It is said to be released this coming September or October 2016. On the financial report released by Sony, it's stated that a device or a product named Neo 4k would arrive in between June and October of 2016.
In E3 2016, as reported by The Sixth Axis, CEO Andrew House confirmed that Sony is working on the PS 4.5 Neo console. "Well, to be very clear, the high end PS4, code-named Neo, that we are working on, is an addition to the existing lineup, not a replacement," he said.
As of the moment, the most that we can do is wait. With the statement of Mr. House, we can expect that Sony prepping something good for the PS 4.5 Neo.
