Apple Inc. is expected to release the new MacBook Pro 2016 soon. Although the tech giant did not mention anything about it at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) which took place in June, there are rumors that the portable computer is coming out soon, featuring the best specifications that everyone will love.
With the introduction of the MacBook Pro 2016, some believe that Apple is releasing it to the market to replace the MacBook Air models. There are tech experts who agree with this theory because the units were not updated since 2015.
Nevertheless, Mashable analyzed that the release of MacBook Pro 2016 does not mean that Apple is discontinuing the MacBook Air. It went on to say that the models may not be getting any upgrades this year but it will still be manufactured and supported by the company.
So, when will the MacBook Pro 2016 be released? Most probably it will be out in the market in the last quarter of this year, according to MacWorld.
If the predictions are right, the head-turning specs of MacBook Pro 2016 are as follows:
Firstly, the unit will be much thinner and lighter compared to the MacBooks that have already been released. It will be available in two sizes - the 15-inch and 11-inch variants.
All units will feature 5K Retina display with the innovative OLED touch bar and fingerprint or ID reader. The battery will be more powerful and will allow users more hours without charging. For easy connectivity, it will come with USB Type C and ThunderBolt 3 ports.
Moreover, MacBook Pro 2016 will be powered by Intel's newest Skylake processor chipset and for its operating system, Apple will install the latest macOS Sierra.
Finally, some tech enthusiasts stated that the device is not completely perfect for it has one downside. They said that upgrades with the new soldered SSD memory is not possible with MacBook Pro 2016.
