Aside from catching various wild Pokemon, trainers are always excited to have their acquired creatures evolve in "Pokemon Go." There are reports that a trick is available to have Eevee, the special-type Pokemon, evolve three ways.

According to certain "Pokemon Go" players, merely changing the name of Eevee will have it evolve. In the anime series, Eevee can evolve into several possible forms, although the change is permanent once it does. It is important for "Pokemon Go" players to decide early which type they wish for their Eevee to transform, because the upgrade is irreversible.

The Bitbag explained that "Pokemon Go" showcases Generation 1 Pokemon, which means that Eevee can evolve into five unique forms, depending on the choice of the "Pokemon Go" trainer. The evolved forms include Flareon (fire), Jolteon (electric), Vaporeon (water), Umbreon (dark) and Espeon (Psychic).

Gamers can simply evolve their Eevee in three forms by changing its name. To upgrade to Flareon, "Pokemon Go" players should rename their Eevee to "Pyro." To evolve into a Jolteon, rename it to "Sparky. To evolve into a Vaporeon, rename Eevee into "Rainer."

Turning Eevee into an Umbreon or Espeon in "Pokemon Go" will require a high friendship level, which will mean walking a certain distance with the Pokemon and spending a lot of time together. Players can evolve Eevee into an Espeon only during the day, while transforming into an Umbreon should be done at night.

In other "Pokemon Go" news, there are talks that the hit mobile game will be debuting on Nintendo 3DS. The title is currently playable on Android and iOS devices, and there are rumors that Niantic Games and Nintendo will collaborate to make a mobile device just for the game. Nintendo has yet to confirm whether "Pokemon Go" will launch on Nintendo 3DS.

Hollywood Life reported that "Pokemon Go" creator Niantic Labs confirmed at San Diego Comic-Con 2016 that players can manipulate how Eevee can evolve. Players can try the approach immediately but they need to decide which type they need since the change is forever. More updates and details on "Pokemon Go" are expected soon.
