‘Final Fantasy 7' Remake Release Date, Gameplay & Update: Game Has Three Separate Launch Dates? More Details Here

Square Enix's "Final Fantasy 7" Remake may have three separate release dates. In 2015, during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), the Japanese video game developer teased gamers about a possible remake of the hit series. Even a year after the announcement, there is no information as to when the game will be launched and it's not happening this year for sure.

Thanks to game producer Yoshinori Kitase, gamers came to know the possible reason why the game is taking so much time to launch. Kitase told Joe Juba of Game Informer in April that due to their extreme focus on the XIII series, "Final Fantasy 7" Remake took backstage for a while.

However, he assured that "Final Fantasy 7" Remake would be greater in terms of scale and will essentially be a full-scale game for each part of the multi-part series. The remake already has a pre-existing story and that would be encompassed in the multi-part series.

According to The Bitbag, there are predictions that the first part would be released in 2017 and the second and third installments in 2018 and 2019 respectively. While "Final Fantasy 7" fans eagerly wait for this year to end, there are certain interesting details about the game that must be shared.

Kitase confirmed that certain characters and storyline will be taken from the Compilation content thought not every famous character will reappear. The development team is working hard upgrade the visuals for "Final Fantasy 7" Remake and they would be at par with "Advent Children." Fans may also expect to see massive changes in game styles and battle systems.

There will be elements of surprise for seasoned gamers in "Final Fantasy 7" Remake. Kitase spoke of a certain balance between nostalgia and surprises. Hence, the developers would be changing certain areas for sure but not everything to make gamers feel nostalgic.

Square Enix's "Final Fantasy 7" Remake is an action RPG developed exclusively for PS4, reports Movie News Guide. Stay tuned for more news and updates on "Final Fantasy 7" Remake!
