‘Pokemon Go’ Gen 2 Latest News, Release Date and Update: Critters To Prepare For In Next Version

“Pokemon Go” Gen 2 has gotten a lot of players up and jumpy with enhancements expected for the widely popular augmented reality game. While Niantic is likely to add new features, it is the “Pokemon Go” characters that are in the center of the upcoming update. With Johto Pokemon leading the pack, anticipation on new evolutions and improved critters is in the air. And this early, it may be wise to stock up on certain characters that may not be relevant.

Eeveelutions

One of the random spawns that “Pokemon Go” players look forward to would be “Eevee”. While this character may not be that relevant for now, he could be on Gen 2. And all that is tied up to two evolutions – Umbreon and Espeon.

Both are the evolved forms of Eevee which single out how important this fella will be in the next version. Two new evolutions could be forthcoming for perhaps one of the most complex characters on “Pokemon Go” right now. For those who are not familiar with Umbreon and Espeon, the former is seen more as a dark-type critter (night evolution) while the latter is a psychic type (daytime evolution).

Totodile and Togepi

Another possible Pokemon appearing could be Totodile. He is one of the starters from Gold and Silver, someone who carries a cute and unique design. If he is to appear on “Pokemon Go” Gen 2, he could be one of the more adorable one's players will want to have.

The other is Togepi, another adorable piece “Pokemon Go” players will want to have. He can be evolved into a strong “Togechic” and armed with psychic attacks which could come in handy for PokeGym battles.

It is likely that Togepi will be made available via 10 KM eggs though it will all likely boil down to chance once more. Stay tuned to Game & Guide for more "Pokemon GO" news!
