Kickass Torrents Latest News & Update: Site Back with Katcr Link? Reports Suggest Link Fully Functional

The torrents situation seems serious and the existing torrent sites such as The Pirate Bay (TPB), Extratorrents, 1337x, YTS and RARBG may eventually lose the fight to stay functional. However, when everybody was thinking that there is little chance for Kickass Torrents (KAT) to make any sort of a comeback, a mysterious KAT site has emerged and it's working absolutely fine.

KAT is still searchable via the new mystery link Katcr. In fact torrent users can download their daily dose of movies, TV shows, music and others from this site. Currently, most of the torrent users are flocking to the time-tested TPB the most as they believe it can fight off the authorities who are relentlessly trying to take every piracy site down.

Now it seems even KAT has joined TPB in serving its loyal user base via Katcr. There are numerous KAT mirror sites but most of them are spam or defunct. Some of them are treacherous too as they ask users to sign up by providing personal and financial information. Users should not fall prey to such sites as they may prove to be harmful.

However, Katcr does not ask for any such information and works exactly like the original, writes Parent Herald. It will be interesting to see how long the site remains operational. TPB and Extratorrents are currently the most-visited sites.

On the event on torrent's demise, the next piracy haven could well be the US Library of Congress as it may be opened to the public for music access. This move by the US Copyright Office has been slammed by the RIAA who has warned materials can be easily exploited and then put on piracy websites.

Taking such a decision may lead to severe piracy leaks if a strict security system is not implemented. For more updates on the torrent situation, stay tuned at GamenGuide.
