The company Sony has announced its new model of smartphones at the recent electronics show IFA 2016. But, Sony did not announce the device as Xperia Z6, instead, it is the Xperia XZ. The Sony Xperia XZ is said to have a very much improved specs than other models. So, there are rumors that the Xperia Z6 will not be released anymore because the new Sony Xperia XZ is the Xperia Z6 in disguise.

According to Tech Advisor, when the company announced the Sony Xperia XZ at the event IFA 2016 in Berlin, Sony also said that the phone will be available for UK in early October 2016. However, the exact release date was not announced the same as the UK pricing. Sony remained quiet about the price of their upcoming smartphone. Rumor says that the Xperia XZ will have a price between £500 and £600 SIM-free once it launches.

The upcoming Sony Xperia XZ will feature a 5.2-inch Full HD display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 3GB of RAM. According to a report from Tech Radar, the new smartphone will also have a brand new Sony's own design the ALKALEIDO metal back. The Xperia XZ will have a more rounded edge compared to other models. Also, it will have the IP68 water resistance feature, which means the users will not have to worry if they drop their phone in water.

Sony will be making improvements on Xperia XZ camera and this will be including the 5-axis image stabilization. The new device will have a better white balance control and laser auto-focus. This feature can track and predict some movements this will enable the device to ensure moments are not missed.

The Xperia XZ will come with an improved 2900mAh battery that will be really helpful to prevent battery draining quickly. The Xperia XZ will also learn the users charging routine in time so it won't be pumping in power when it doesn't need to when your charger is connected.
