iOS 10.0.1 Jailbreak Release Date, News & Update: Cydia Problem Delaying Pangu’s Cracked Release?
The iOS 10 is out and running and the Apple jailbreaking fans are eager to see how Pangu reacts. This is with reference to a much-awaited iOS 10.0.1 Jailbreak, something pegged to come out soon.
A logical time to expect an iOS 10.0.1 jailbreak would be October. It normally takes Pangu a month to release a crack unless the Cupertino company comes out with an update for various reasons. One example is the surprise release of iOS 9.3.5, something no one saw coming but was needed for security reasons.
One thing that adds pressure for Pangu to release an iOS 10.0.1 jailbreak is that Apple didn’t enhance the security measures for iOS 10. The problem, however, is pinpointing what modifications the Cupertino did for a jailbreak to work.
Reports have it that Pangu is encountering problems with Cydia on iOS 10, an issue that has yet to be resolved. There were early speculations of an iOS 10.0.1 jailbreak coming as early as Sept. 17 but the Cydia issue has obviously nullified that from happening.
Moving forward, Pangu is likely working on the reason behind the Cydia error, one that could very well affect the eventual release of an iOS 10.0.1 jailbreak. This hints that even with minor to no changes on the security of iOS 10.0.1, other areas of the Apple mobile operating system may have been touched.
Todesco at it again
While Pangu continues to solve the iOS 10 puzzle, independent hacker Lucas Todesco continues to make strides showing off his iOS 10 Gold Master edition. His latest video is a follow-up to his previously released video covering a crack for the iOS 10 beta called YaluX works on arm64ie.64bit devices.
The accomplishments of Todesco is something to behold though he seems no different from other individual hackers who have done nothing more than show off their iOS 10 jailbreaks. Like other before him, unless an actual iOS 10.0.1 jailbreak comes out, all these are nothing more than means to gain attention.
