"Jumanji" is a film adaptation from the Caldecott Medal-winning adventure book by Chris Van Allsburg, which reveals a new dimension once played. The first "Jumanji" movie that was launched in 1995 ended with the "Jumaji" game still existing, which concludes to a possible sequel in the future.
Before shooting the new film "Jumanji," actor Dwayne Johnson, who will be playing as Dr. Bravestone, had posted a video in his Instagram account showing himself and the rest of the Jumaji cast being blessed by a local priest, who is known as a Kahu. A group picture also started circulating online showing the four main characters of the film "Jumanji."
The said photo was first posted by the actor Kevin Hart on his official Instagram account showing him, who will be playing as Moose Finbar, together with Dwayne Johnson as Dr. Bravestone, Karen Gillan as Ruby Roundhouse and Jack Black as Professor Shelly Oberon in their set in Hawaii. Aside from the five confirmed actors for the "Jumanji" film, there are reports claiming that there will be two more characters to be added on the set. According to Deadline, Ser'Darius Blain and Madison Iseman will be joining the cast of "Jumanji."
The new "Jumanji" film was first announced in April and it was thought to be a reboot of the 1995 film. However, Dwayne Johnson had confirmed that the upcoming "Jumanji" film will be a sequel. He has also released a concept art of his Dr. Bravestone character last month.
Jake Kasdan, who is known to be the son of Star Wars writer Lawrence Kasdan, will be directing the new "Jumanji" film. The original "Jumanji" film aired on 1995 had Robin Williams, Kristen Dunst and Bonnie Hunt as the main characters
