Two days ago, Activision released "Destiny: Rise of Iron," the fourth and latest major DLC expansion for the first person shooter. It was released to favorable reviews in terms of the mission, but lukewarm reception in terms of its characters and story.
The latest point of interest in "Destiny: Rise of Iron" is the Khvostov Exotic Weapon, which fans would remember as the very first gun they received when they first started playing "Destiny." Sure, it's basic and lacks a lot of awesome features, but some have actually treasured it as a keepsake.
If you were one of those people who kept their very first weapon, you're in luck because the Khvostov Exotic Weapon is actually of use in "Destiny: Rise of Iron." According to Heavy, players will be able to obtain the Khvostov Exotic Weapon if they complete a side mission that will take them through assembling the weapon. There are two ways to obtain a Khvostov Exotic Weapon.
First, "Destiny: Rise of Iron" players can dismantle the original Khvostov gun, which will give gamers an exotic quest. Once completed, the quest will reward the gamer with the Khvostov Exotic Weapon. However, there's also a shortcut to getting a Khvostov Exotic Weapon. All you need to do is find the hidden side boss inside the Cosmodrome.
According to VG24/7, "Destiny: Rise of Iron" players must dismantle the original Khvostov to get the Khvostov 7G Schematic. Visit the Felwinter Peak and accept the mission, with which you will be tasked to find three parts for the Khvostov Exotic Weapon. Killing splicers will also get you the 10 manual pages that are required of you.
"Destiny: Rise of Iron" should also note that in order to find the three parts for the Khvostov Exotic Weapon, they will have to go tot eh Plaguelands and Rocketyard. Gamerant has a pretty descriptive guide for those who aren't very familiar with the task just yet.
