iPad Pro 2 Release Date, News & Update: Apple Tablet In Three Variants, No Audio Jack; Apple Pencil in 2017?

The upcoming iPad Pro 2 is rumored to be made available in three variants. The new Apple tablet is said to sports revolutionary specs and features, which include the A10 chipset, Apple Pencil, as well as AMOLED display panel. After a no-show at IFA 2016 in Germany, it is believed that the tablet might be released in March 2017 instead.

According to HNGN,  the eventual 2017 release date was also hinted by Ming Chi-Kuo, who is a famous tech analyst. She stated that the Cupertino-based technology giant is very eager with regard to the integration of more impressive specs to the second installment of the iPad Pro unit.

Rumors suggested that the three variants of the iPad Pro 2 will be composed of a different screen size, which include 12.9-inch, 10.5-inch, and 9.7-inch. More so, it is also stated that all variants are expected to be slimmer, water resistant, and lighter. According to Bloomberg, the new Apple tablet will also sport AMOLED display technology.

Should the Ipad Pro 2 be made available next year, it is expected to come with the Apple pencil for more convenient and efficient writing and drawing. As stated in the same report, the pencil will help users to smoothly navigate through the unit with fluid panning, zooming, and scrolling features.

Apart from that, it is also rumored that the table might be lacking a headphone jack and feature the Apple Airpods, which is the same with the recently launched iPhone 7 and 7 Plus units.

Performance-wise, reports claim that both 12.9-inch and 10.50-inch variants will be powered by the latest A10X processor while the 9.7-inch will be equipped with an A9X chipset. Moreover, the basic variant of the iPad Pro 2 is rumored to have 32GB of internal storage option. Watch the video for more details:
