According to reports, the new tablet will be launched in March 2017.
Although Apple has yet to provide concrete details with regard to the development and release of the upcoming iPad Mini 5, several reports suggest that the delay of its launching is caused by the company's decision to use the A10 processor instead of the current A9 chipset. There are speculations saying that the tablet will come out with impressive features and specs under the hood similar to that of the new iPhone 7. The powerful processor is also expected to be paired with 2 GB of RAM.
If rumors prove to be true, the possibility that Apple might bring a 3D Touch pressure-sensitive display to the new iPad Mini 5 is pretty high. The amazing feature can be experienced using the recently released iPhone 7. Other features to be added on the tablet include a brand new audio port as Apple will drop the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack. It will also upgrade its Home button to a touch-sensitive switch, making the new iPad Mini 5 the best in its class.
Meanwhile, Apple is said to retain its camera feature for the new iPad Mini 5. Its primary camera will get an 8 MP resolution, while the front-facing snapper will be at 1.2 MP. The tablet is also expected to come with an amazing battery technology at 5124 mAh. The efficiency of its new processor will also help provide longer battery life.
