When that app was blocked, several others surfaced, including GoScan. However, it seems that GoScan has been blocked by Niantic and will no longer work on "Pokemon GO."
One of the developers of GoScan took to Reddit to share that Niantic has indeed found them out and has blocked them, which is why "Pokemon GO" users will not be able to use GoScan alongside the game anymore. According to iTechPost, GoScan was a widely popular "Pokemon GO" cheat used by many. It was actually downloaded 100,000 times by over 9 million "Pokemon GO" players.
Meanwhile, for those who are still looking for ways to get around "Pokemon GO" cheats, here's one app that seems to be working for some. PokeGOD is a cheat developed by students from University of California, Berkeley. It's a "Pokemon GO" cheat for iOS that lets users sit back, relax, and catch Pokemon right in the comfort of their own homes.
