Valve has been completely silent about the "Half Life 3" development. There is also no official announcement made on whether or not the company is really making the game. But, recent leaks and reports suggest that the company is now working on the third installment of the game series.
According to a report from GameSpresso, Valve news network and some other code detectives have seen hints that "Half Life 3" is underdevelopment and it might have many interesting new features. There was a recent update in "DOTA 2" containing a code "HLVR."
The Code automatically hinted fans that it means Half Life Virtual Reality. Fans are excited about this; a "Half Life" game with virtual reality support will be totally worth the wait. There are also reports stating that Valve and HTC has been working together for the "Half Life 3" game.
Cher Wang, the HTC chairwoman, also confirmed at the previously held Mobile World Congress or MWC that they are co-operating with "Half Life." However, Cher Wang didn't specify if it was the "Half Life 3" she was talking about.
Several rumors and speculations about the "Half Life 3" storyline are also spreading online. Rumors say that Gordon Freeman will still be the main protagonist of the game. His new mission is to look for the missing Doctor Helena Mossman.
His mission will take him deep underwater. Gordon Freeman will use submarine to go on the Kraken Base that is said where the doctor is located in its secret laboratory. His final mission is to escape the Kraken Base alive. "Half Life 3" players will surely have a whole new level of gaming experience.
