Apple iPad Mini 5 has been a favorite subject of numerous rumors and speculations all over the Internet for a few months now. Many fans were disappointed when the Cupertino based company decided to skip the highly anticipated tablet during its October affair where it announced several of its new hardware products. Despite the continued silence from the company with regard to its development and release date, fans and critics have continued to share their own prediction as to what they can expect once the tablet comes out in the market.

According to the latest reports, the iPad Mini 5 will turn out to be smaller than expected and several rumors have emerged suggesting that it will be a tiny version of the popular iPad Pro. In the same report, tech observers say that the new tablet will be launched along with the new iPad Pro 2 in 2017.

In a report by PC Advisor, iPad Mini 5 will be unveiled in the first quarter of 2017 with iPad Pro 2, which is said to arrive in three variations. Previous reports have already revealed that iPad Pro 2 will have a 9.7-inch variant, a 10.5-inch model and a much bigger tablet at 12.9 inches. Although Apple has yet to confirm these reports, several rumors have surfaced suggesting that the new iPad Mini 5 tablet will come as an entry-level device for the iPad Pro 2. All three variants of the much-awaited tablet will share the same specs under the hood while the new iPad Mini 5 will carry a different set of specs and features.

According to the report, iPad Mini 5 will run on Apple's A9X chipset paired with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB storage capacity. There are speculations saying that Apple is already ditching the 16 GB entry as they will add the 128-GB storage variant of the new tablet. The device will also carry several exciting features including a new 7000-series aluminum design comparable to iPhone 6s. Stay tuned for more news and updates about iPad Mini 5 and iPad Pro 2.
