‘The Last Of Us 2’ Release Date, News & Update: PS4 Pro Users Will Get Game First? New Characters, Gameplay Details Revealed

After the massive success of "The Last of Us" and "The Last of Us: Left Behind," it is safe to assume that anticipation for "The Last of Us 2" is very high. The predecessors of "The Last Of Us 2" both won the Writers Guild of America trophy for the Outstanding Achievement in Videogame Writing in 2014 and 2015 and are a few of the most critically acclaimed games in recent years.

After Cinema Blend reported that "The Last Of Us: Remastered" is having trouble running on the PlayStation 4 Pro devices, it has been rumored that the folks at developer Naughty Dog are adamant to please users of the console by releasing "The Last of Us 2" on the platform first.

This news about "The Last Of US 2" comes a few days after "Spiderman" director Sam Raimi told IGN that the movie adaptation for the video game is stuck at a standstill in the film company Sony. While he still remains hopeful that the movie will be made, he points that difference in vision for the movie between film executives and video game writer Neil Druckmann is the reason for the delay.

While waiting for the release date of "The Last Of Us 2," you can play "The Last Of Us" and "The Last of Us: Left Behind" and the on PlayStation 3 consoles.
