The "Avatar 2" movie sequel has been long overdue since the original movie was launched in 2009. There are several reasons behind its delay. Several reports claim that some of the lead stars are having some problems negotiating with their talent fees. The lead stars demand a price hike because of the huge success of the first "Avatar" movie.

The movie "Avatar" that was launched 2009 was a mega-blockbuster hit. It even ranked in $2.78 billion dollars in ticket sales worldwide. The movie remains to be the top-grossing movie worldwide, which is why fans are very eager to see its sequel, the "Avatar 2."

According to reports, two of the main characters who have been proclaimed dead in the first movie have been reported to return for "Avatar 2." Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Lang will be part of the upcoming movie because they will be resurrected but they will play as a Na'vi (People of Pandora).

The elite Hollywood actor Stephen Lang was one of the main antagonists in the first film. Lang even received several movie awards after "Avatar" was released. Some reports also claim that Stephen Lang would be making a fresh start in "Avatar 2" and he would soon end up one of the good guys in the movie.

The movie "Avatar 2" will focus mainly on Jake Sully and Neytiri's married life. The movie will be more like a family saga. Some rumors say that the humans will go back to Pandora planet and try to take back the minerals they wanted in the first movie.

Recent reports also claim that James Cameron recently talked to the Society of Motion Pictures and Television engineers about pushing for a cinematic 3D experience for "Avatar 2" without the using 3D glasses.
