‘Injustice 2’ Latest News & Update: Game Gets Best ‘Mortal Kombat’ Character; Release On Nintendo Switch Expected
"Injustice 2" does not have a release date yet but reports suggest it may have more DLC characters than "Mortal Kombat X." While guest characters are cool, fans expect to see more DC characters join the fight. Addition of Deadshot and Blue Beetle is a step towards the right direction.
"Injustice 2" is expected to be released on Xbox One and PS4 in 2017. As Warner Bros has also stated that it would be making games for Nintendo Switch, it is possible that "Injustice 2" could be released on Switch.
Characters from "Mortal Kombat" that can be included in "Injustice 2" are Jax, Raiden, Johnny Cage and Sub Zero. Sub Zero is a very popular "Mortal Kombat" character and thus could be included. Ed Boon recently tweeted a poll on the best "Mortal Kombat" character who fans want to see in "Injustice 2." Sub Zero is in the lead.
Boon also tweeted a poll on the best non-Mortal Kombat character for "Injustice 2." The names are Spawn, Hellboy, Terminator and Buffy. Clearly Spawn is winning. Spawn was a playable character in the Xbox version of Soul Calibur 2 but hasn't made appearance much ever since.
After the initial announcement, developers of "Injustice 2" have kept quiet. The sequel is one of the most-anticipated titles of 2017. Therefore, Boon's Twitter poll asking fans about the guest characters has again caused some stir in the "Injustice 2" fan world. Scorpion from "Mortal Kombat" was a guest character in "Injustice."
However, fans of "Mortal Kombat X" are eagerly waiting for the DLC to be released though game developers have not released any official statement on the third pack. This has led many to believe that the main cause of delay is "Injustice 2."
"Mortal Kombat X" Pack 3 is rumored to also arrive in March 2017. The DLC will reportedly include Baraka, Fukin, Noob Saibot, Rain and Sindel. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more "Injustice 2" news and updates!
