'Tokyo Ghoul' Season 3 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Here's Why It's Cancelled; 'Hunter X Hunter' To Make Comeback?

"Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3 is said to be pushed for a later date in lieu of "Hunter X Hunter". The latter is said to come out of a long hiatus with a few changes. The creator's failure to deliver commitment to the anime series was said to be a factor why the task of proceeding with the series was transferred to a different artist.

On that note, "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3 may have to step aside for awhile. The "Tokyo Ghoul" creator Sui Ishida is believed to have taken the place of "Hunter X Hunter" artist Yoshihiro Togashi. It should be noted that Togashi-san's long absence was due to several health issues.

On a positive note, it is believed that the comeback of "Hunter X Hunter" has long been awaited by its fans. Recent reports claim that Togashi-san was spotted partying at a Kochikame event. This lead to speculation that "Hunter X Hunter" is in fact rolling out with Chapter 361 soon. However, because of the delay of the "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3, Togashi is believed to have been replaced, Anime News Network reported.

Sui Ishida may not only be just a "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3 creator but an avid fan and supporter of the "Hunter X Hunter" manga series as well. It is expected that Ishida-san would be revising the series and adding new spins for the hit anime series. Moreover, the manga artist is further believed to honor both the "Hunter X Hunter" vol. 33 and the "Tokyo Ghoul" vol. 7 in his future creations.

In other news, fans of "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3 may have to wait from late 2017 to early 2018 for the production to continue. Previous reports claimed that Season 3 would be revealed this year around the winter season. On the contrary, it is said that the lack of materials have caused the delays which also lead to cancellation for the 2016 release, according to report.

"Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3 is rumored to launch in March 2017. The anime series may still roll out a struggling Ken Kaneki as a half-ghoul. In the meantime, the third installment of the series was also believed to have been endorsed to Madhouse which is aimed at improving the series aesthetically.
