"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is finally up as BioWare's launch procedures set for a 2017's spring debut. For so long, players were only given hints, teaser tweets, and sparks of videos limiting the amount of information gamers desire to know. Yet, recently, BioWare leaked some information and we have picked up the pieces and to learn the company's next step into the science fiction world.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" Release Date

Andromeda was originally scheduled to be released in the holiday of 2016 but it was delayed. The official release date is presently set in the first quarter of 2017.

Expectantly, the release would be within January and March. Latest hints about the official release points towards March 23 in the U.K. and March 21 in the U.S. according to PCGames.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" Story

The Andromeda Initiative will be the center of the fourth installment of the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" game. The Andromeda Initiative is a multi-species project crafted to deploy scientists, colonists, and explorers on a one-way trip to Andromeda. It was founded in 2176 and was launched in 2185. Its vital mission is to establish a permanent presence on a resource-abundant frontier of Andromeda and create a way between it and the Milky Way Galaxy.

A gamer plays one of the Ryders, a sister or a brother on board one of intergalactic arks with their father, Alec Ryder. Alec is the leader of the human ark. Leaders are also called Pathfinders, is tasked to take responsibility of the members of the ark. From a cryosleep awakening, the gamer ends up as a Pathfinder. The Hyperion, or the ark carrying the humans, arrives at a wrong location, far from Nexus, and cut off from contact.

There will be fighting with the Kett -- a more humanoid race compared to the Reapers who has some greatly troubling plans. Ketts are enemies and are naturally armored. The Andromeda Story will end in a single game. Mac Walters, BioWare creative Directors said in an interview with Game Informer, that. for the universe, there is much more that players can explore. The company would like to excite that, but Andromeda, he said, feels like its own story.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" Universe

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is a whole new different place that gamers have explored before. The Helios Cluster is grander and greater than the previous installments. Since we're in a new galaxy, don't expect any familiar faces to turn up.
