“Dance Moms” Season 7 comes earlier than expected since Lifetime confirmed that episode 1 would premiere on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 9 pm ET. Along with the earlier-than-expected start of season 7 are headaches that come with running the dance studio.
The headaches include having to remove a dancer and the return of a major rival who opened a dance studio in season 1. According to the trailer of “Dance Moms” Season 7, Cathy Nesbitt-Stein is returning to the Lifetime reality show, IBT reports.
Competitor’s Comeback
Cathy Nesbitt-Stein opened in season 1 Candy Apple’s Dance Centre which has been training dancers who are competitors of Abby Lee Dance Company. She and daughter Vivi-Anne gained fame in season 1 because of the daughter’s sense of humor and Cathy Nesbitt-Stein’s sharp repartees which viewers of “Dance Moms” Season 7 would once more watch.
But it is not just Cathy Nesbitt-Stein who Abby Lee would resume clashes. The “Dance Mom” Season 7 trailer shows the dance coach vowing to the young dancers to make life very hard for them. In the case of one dancer, Abby Lee boots a contestant for screwing her up and the dance company. As she shouts to the evicted dancer, Abby Lee said the biggest error of her life was accept that “problem” dancer in her studio.
Junior Elites Versus Minis
Constant battles with her dancers has been a hallmark of “Dance Moms” from season 1 through season 6. At the finale of “Dance Moms” Season 6, the Junior Elites left the ALDC after frequent shouting battles with Abby Lee. The Junior Elites instead preferred to train by themselves for the next dance battle. In turn, Abby Lee focused on the Minis who would be the competitors of the Junior Elites, Buddytv recalls. The Junior Elites got only third place, while the Minis were winners which led to the Junior Elites moms confronting Abby Lee for their daughters’ loss.
