The Motorola Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus are expected to carry forward the design as well as the form factor of their predecessors. It will be interesting to see what the highlight will be of the Moto G series. Certain leaks have talked about specifications that are very similar to the earlier phones.

The Motorola Moto G5 smartphone is expected to come with a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It will be multi-touch enabled and the screen protection is yet to be confirmed. The handset will run on the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.

The Motorola Moto G5 will have an octa-core CPU and have internal memory of 16/32GB. It will be expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The handset may have a RAM of 2/3GB.Nothing much is known about its other specs. FM Radio and fast battery charging will be present in the handset along with the required sensors.

Battery specs of the Motorola Moto G5 are not yet confirmed though it could come with a non-removable Li-Ion battery. Tech experts believe that the Moto G5 will have a 13MP primary camera with autofocus and dual-LED (dual tone) flash, reports GSMArena. Other camera features include geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama and auto-HDR. The 5MP secondary camera will also have auto-HDR function.

The Motorola Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus are rumored to be launched in March 2017. Motorola is now busy with a lot of stuff in its mind. The Motorola Moto G4 and G4 Plus are also getting the Android 7.0 Nougat update and leaked images of Motorola Moto G5 and G5 Plus indicate the upcoming phones will have decent amount of features to offer.
