"The Big Bang Theory" Season 10, Episode 11 Winter Finale Spoilers
With the arrival of baby Wolowitz, there will be a new addition to the family of the show since Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch). EW asked showrunner Steve Molaro if it will change the show.
"But the baby is Bernadette and Wolowitz's, so it's not front and center. It's not Leonard [Johnny Galecki] and Penny [Kaley Cuoco], it's not Sheldon [Jim Parsons] and Amy, it's not in the apartment right there on camera. It's manageable in a way that does not drastically alter the DNA of Big Bang Theory. But like so many awesome characters that we've gotten to see over the years, it just opens more doors, and affects their lives, and allows the show and the characters to continue to grow," Molaro said.
However, other characters will introspect to what is in store for them in life when the baby arrives. Molaro stated that Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar) will feel his friends are "evolving in their lives and he needs to catch up somehow."
Meanwhile, Sheldon (Jim Parsons) is ready to have the annual coitus session with Amy on her birthday and it will coincide with the Bernadette and Howard's (Simon Helberg) baby birth.
