Samsung Latest News & Update: Galaxy A Series Teasers Hint At Official Coming In 2017, IP68 Rating Reportedly In Tow

The rapport involving the potential debut of the Samsung Galaxy A Series in 2017 just got louder, following a teaser put up by Samsung Mobile Malaysia. Bearing the title “It All Begins With A Hold Your Breath” alongside water droplets, the reported IP68 ratings just became real.

Recent reports have dished on the coming of the Samsung Galaxy A Series in 2017, and much of the purported water-proof and dust resistance certification came out a couple of weeks ago. Hence, Samsung may have just jacked up the upcoming line which is speculated to be on hand at the Consumer Electronics Show 2017 next month, GSM Arena reported.

Several products under the Samsung Galaxy A Series are expected to debut in January. That includes the Galaxy A3, A5 and A7. Potential buyers welcome the integration of iP68 certification with all phones expected to hit the global market.

Being a mid-range phone, making the Samsung Galaxy A Series phones rugged is a pretty welcome development for the consumer market. The A3 and A5 are expected to hit the Western Europe market in mid-January where color variants will include pink, gold, black and blue, Neurogadget reported.

As far as the Western Europe market is concerned, estimated retail prices of the A3 and A5 are believed to be 349 and 449 EUROS respectively. The high-end of the lot has yet to delve into specifics, likely to be revealed at CES 2017 instead.

With a new line, it will be interesting how the Samsung Galaxy A series will help the Korean giant boost its stock. They are still reeling from the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 debacle so help from a new line is pretty welcome. Ironically, these devices could very well be in good company with the Samsung Galaxy S8 also expected to be unveiled by the first quarter of 2017.
