'H1Z1' First Twitch Gameplay Livestream is Thursday, April 17, 5 p.m. PST With Dev Jimmy Whisenhunt

Hungry For Some 'H1Z1' Gameplay Footage? Livestream Will Be This Thursday!

If you're like me and you have a thirst for new H1Z1 news like a zombie (named Fred?) thirsts for human flesh, then you're in luck.

H1Z1 game designer Jimmy Whisenhunt announced via the game's official subreddit yesterday that he will be livestreaming himself (at this Twitch channel) playing the upcoming zombie apocalypse MMO this coming Thursday, April 17, around 5 p.m. Pacific/8 p.m. Eastern.

So what's the good Mr. Whisenhunt going to actually do during this stream? He offered a little clarification in his Reddit post:

"To answer a few questions I've received on twitter regarding the stream:

  • Yes, this will be a live stream of the game being played.
  • No this will not be a trailer
  • No this will not be pre-recorded
  • Yes, I am serious ... :)"

Good to know that people on Twitter still bombard pseudo-celebrities with dumb questions!

At any rate, keep it tuned to that subreddit for an official time a little closer to Thursday. The 5 p.m. PST time was an estimate by Whisenhunt, so it is definitely subject to change.
