San Diego Comic Con hasn't really been about comics for ages. Rather, it has become an all-encompassing nerd mecca that takes over the town of Saint D for a few days in July. Square Enix and Deep Silver realize this all too well and are planning to set up a nerd oasis among the savage lands: an arcade full of games of their own making.

Square has Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, a four-player co-op game in which Lara Croft joins forces with rival archaeologist and defeat Set (the Set). Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix for PS3 will tease the first ever availability of Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep Final Mix bundled in the aforementioned title, leading up to the yet-to-be released Kingdom Hearts III. There will also be Nosgoth, the competitive team-based multiplayer game (currently in beta) set in the Legacy of Kain world that has ranged humans facing off against melee vampires. Both Hitman: Sniper and Hitman GO will be showcased on the iOS and Android.

Deep Silver, on their part, present you with Escape Dead Island, an adventure game for previous gen consoles and PC that has players looking for the origin of the virus from the previous zombie games. Metro Redux combines Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light in one current-gen package. Lastly, Sacred 3 for last-gen consoles and PC is a hack'n'slash for up to four players in both on- and offline mode.
