Collect Creatures In Moonrise On Your iPhone Or Android

State of Decay devs Undead Labs take a hard right turn into mobile gaming featuring all-ages content with their upcoming real-time strategic creature collector RPG Moonrise.

Outcast Odyssey Looks Like A Gorgeous Card Game

The game synopsis at the official site reads as follows:

"Throughout history, the enigmatic event known as the Moonrise has periodically caused widespread fear and destruction. As its corrupting shadow spread across the land, peaceful creatures known as Solari were transformed into savage Lunari, attacking towns and cities for months until the effect faded. In recent times, Moonrises have been rare, sometimes separated by centuries, and their corruption lasting mere days. But that's changing now, as the cycle intensifies once again, and the world faces an age of danger and uncertainty. Now it's time for you to set off on an epic adventure to protect your world and fulfill your destiny to become a master Warden."

Toren Will Probably Make You Cry

Sound a bit familiar to Pokémon fans? Undead Labs founder Jeff Strain reassures gamers in a blog post, however: "Moonrise is of course very different from State of Decay in many ways. It's bright and colorful, it's fantastical, and it's on mobile. But despite those notable differences, you'll also find that it's very much an Undead Labs game, with a focus on systems-driven content, sophisticated progression mechanics, and a few bold design choices - such as strategic real-time combat - we think will result in a fresh gameplay experience. And, like every game we will ever make, Moonrise is a gamer-focused game, meaning it's developed for people like us - passionate gamers who expect our time and money to be treated with respect."
