Diablo 3 Halloween Event: Buff Now Live On Desktop And Consoles, Blizzard Treats Players To Pillow Cases Full Of Gold All Weekend Long

Blizzard Treats All Players To Weekend Long Gold And XP Buff In Diablo III

Nephalem! As you wander from door to door in the High Heavens and plumb the depths of Pandemonium, Blizzard will be treating you to a very special Halloween event all weekend. Gorge yourself on candy, then gorge yourself on sweet, sweet loot.

Where In Destiny Is Xur? We Have His Location For The Weekend

From now, October 31 through November 3 at 11:59 p.m. Everyone in the Americas who logs into Diablo III during that time on PC or console will receive a 100% boost to both Gold Find and Experience. This is added on top of any other buffs or stat changes from those provided by items, shrines, Pools of Reflection, and Paragon points and whatever else.

Diablo III and Reaper of Souls may not be the most 'terrifying' of games, but it really is the perfect Halloween title. What better way to nurse the post-sugar rush crash or hangover than by stumbling over to your computer to do battles with the forces of hell tomorrow? Presumably, you are still in costume when you are doing this, to make the effect better.

Hearthstone Patch Adds New Seasonally Themed Card Backs

It is peculiar that while Diablo III does square you off against all the things that go bump in the night, there is no dedicated Halloween-themed content. Even putting a ghost costume on a zombie would be a fun little event that could bring the spirit of the holiday to what is a very dour game. Can't we have a little fun, Blizzard? After all, we love the Hallow's End event in World of Warcraft.

Anyways, save some room for gold this weekend. There's a whole lot more coming your way!
