Middle Earth Shadow Of Mordor Xbox 360 And PS3 Versions Launch Today

As If You Aren't Busy Enough, Middle-Earth: Shadow Of Mordor Launches On PS3 And Xbox 360 Today

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor is out now on Xbox 360 and PS3 systems.

New Unity Patch For Xbox One Is Breaking The Game All Over Again

You will be forgiven for not remembering this little piece of information as it has been a very busy day. Dragon Age: Inquistion, WWE 2K15, GTA V, Escape Dead Island are all out today. Not to mention you're probably still waiting to actually play that other Assassin's Creed-esque game: Assassin's Creed Unity.

The last-gen version of Shadow of Mordor was delayed from its original September 30 release so Monolith could focus on the Xbox One and PS4 versions.

Mordheim: City of the Damned Preps For Early Access Launch

Shadow of Mordor will play roughly the same as its next-gen console; combat, stealth, abilities are all converted over. However, the much-praised Nemesis system will be reduced to accommodate the Xbox 360 and PS3's processing power.

But for those who have been waiting for this day, your patience is now rewarded.

The consensus here at GameNGuide is that Shadow of Mordor takes both the best and worst parts of Assassin's Creed and creates a very enjoyable title. Obviously, it doesn't take the absolute worst parts of the game. After all, you can go out right now and play it.

Good hunting out there.
