When it launches on December 10, the holiday-themed texture pack will run players $2.99. Inside, the add-on contains a seasonal texture pack to make decorating your Minecraft worlds for the holidays that much easier. It also includes 36 new skins – including players in winter jackets, elves, Santa and what looks to be a cross-country skier – and even new music from Minecraft composer C418.

According to the reveal blurb, the Minecraft Festive Mash-Up Pack will be coming later to platforms other then the two Xboxes, but this week it looks like Microsoft players will be getting first dibs on the cheery add-on.

This year has been a big one for Minecraft. The game finally made its way to next gen consoles, launching on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and the PS Vita in the span of just over a month. Microsoft also finalized a $2.5 billion purchase of Mojang, the developer behind the game. Minecraft isn't done expanding just yet, though. The Minecraft: Pocket Edition for mobile phones was confirmed to be getting a port for Windows Phone users, inching the game ever closer to being available on almost any platform imaginable.
