House Of Cards Spoilers: New Teaser Trailer Wants To Know Who Lied [VIDEO]

Does The Teaser for House Of Cards Hint At The End Of Frank Underwood?

House of Cards is getting close to its third season. With less than two months to go until the premiere, a new teaser trailer has been released by Netflix, hinting at the hostilities to come next season.

Could This Be The Last Season Of House Of Cards?

The trailer is the epitome of teasers. House of Cards is taking a page out of the Game of Thrones handbook and releasing extremely short teasers for the upcoming season.

This one just features the White House with the sound bite, "I want to know who lied."

Frank Underwood Has Reached The Top, Nowhere To Go But Down In House Of Cards

The animosity of the season has already been speculated on but most of the push against Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) has been from outside forces. Of course, pretty much everything that is not Frank and Claire is outside forces.

This sound bite hints at a betrayal from inside of his own ranks. It's unlikely that he'll be questioning the less than truthful actions of a known enemy. He would expect them to lie, it's what he would do.

Could it be Claire? We've hinted at a possible rift between the two of them. It is possible Frank will see a betrayal from his closest confidant. The pressure of the Presidency may put too much of a strain on the relationship and drive her away.

Also to note, the lights go off on the front building. Could this be a hint to the end of Frank that we've talking about? Could the lights be going out on him for good?

House of Cards returns to Netflix on February 27.
