Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Petition Asking For PS4 And Xbox One Port Has Over 110,000 Signatures

Petition To Bring Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 To PS4 And Xbox One Has Over 110,000 Signatures

Petitions can get a lot of important things done, and are a good way for a community to voice its opinion and demand change. They can also be used for just about anything, and a new Call of Duty petition that's rapidly gaining traction is certainly proof of that.

Dying Light Upcoming DLC Will Add Bows And Arrows, Dune Buggy Driving, And More

A Change.org petition to bring Modern Warfare 2 to the new consoles has gained over 110,000 signatures, quickly approaching its requirement of 150,000. The game is a favorite in the franchise, and the cause of the request is nothing more than that a lot of people really like it, and want to play again:

"I speak for every one when I say that Modern Warfare 2 was one of Activision's best game," says the Australian named Ramez Zahra who started the petition. "Just a fun & enjoyable game that really gives you that nostalgic feeling. The guns, maps, kill streaks were just incredible. At the moment mw2 for the ps3 & xbox is just overrun by hackers. If they remaster the game, & sort a couple things out (e.g noob tubing)it would make a lot of people happy."

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Release Date Delayed

It's a perfectly okay sentiment to have, and it doesn't take much to put your name down on something that could bring attention to a new game you'd like to see--hence the number of signatures. It is a bit silly, though, and the argument isn't all that well laid out. A growing number of fans are simply saying, 'We liked this game a lot, and we want to play again on our new machines'. Your move Activision!
