'Destiny House Of Wolves' Prison Of Elders Mode Will Be Revealed In Bungie Livestream Tomorrow [TRAILER]

Prison Of Elders Mode In 'Destiny's House Of Wolves' Expansion Will Debut In Bungie Livestream Tomorrow

The release of Destiny's House of Wolves expansion is inching closer, and Bungie has another livestream for us to show off its features.

Goat Simulator Is Getting A Playable Zombie Survival Mode GoatZ

The first stream unveiled The Reef and changes to the vendor and currency system, while the second showed off the Trials of Osiris Crucible mode. The third, scheduled for May 6 at 11 a.m. Pacific, will reveal the new Prison of Elders mode. Community Manager Deej will return to host, this time with Bungie Lead Designer Matt Sammons and community member ProfessorBroman.

During the stream, they'll be playing a brand new co-op Arena activity set in the Prison of Elders, where teams of three players can "take on waves of increasingly difficult enemies to earn high-level legendary and exotic rewards". This sounds like the horde mode fans predicted when it was originally announced with only vague details, so while it's not a third Raid, it is something entirely new to Destiny. You can match-make with other players anytime, or form your own Fireteam to take on higher difficulty challenges with even greater rewards.

The event will be streamed live on Twitch--we'll provide it for you tomorrow before it goes live, so be sure to check back. The first stream in particular was met with a very positive response for the changes to the game's material and upgrade system, in particular the ability to bring any exotic or legendary gear up to the new attack or defense caps. Hopefully, Prison of Elders will be equally pleasing to fans when it debuts tomorrow.
