Sony E3 2016 Roundup: See All The Gameplay Demos & Trailers Presented At The Press Conference

Sony’s press conference at E3 2016 featured a wide array of incoming games and trailers. The company showcased details on their most anticipated titles through many exciting gameplay demos. Sony is also set to launch its new VR system later in the year.

Some of the trailers and videos at Sony’s E3 2016 press conference are as follows:

Polygon reported that Sony’s E3 2016 press conference presented a long gameplay demo of “Horizon Zero Dawn,” featuring the hunter Aloy riding a robotic bull and defeating a massive cyber-beast by taking advantage of its weakness to fire. Hideo Kojima showcased a video of “Death Stranding.” A footage of “Final Fantasy 15: VR Experience” was also shown, as well as “Star Wars Battlefront VR.” Fans of Crash Bandicoot will also find their beloved character in “Skylanders Imaginators” in enhanced visual form.

Other titles that were displayed at the Sony E3 2016 press conference include “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare – Remastered,” “Batman VR,” “The Last Guardian,” which releases on October 25, and “God of War.” “Days Gone” will also return to consoles, where a lone biker will go against a zombie apocalypse.

In “Detroit: Become Human” by Quantic Dream, the android Connor will try to deal with a hostage scenario, which can have different endings. “Resident Evil 7,” “Spider-Man,” and “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” were also shown.

GameSpot noted that “Death Stranding” stars actor Norman Reedus. Gamers can take on the role of Prompto in the VR version of “FF XV.” The setting and new abilities in “Horizon: Zero Dawn” were visually appealing. RE7 also comes with PlayStation VR support, and will officially launch on Jan. 24, 2017.

“Spider-Man” by Insomniac Games and Marvel has a brand-new authentic story just for PlayStation 4. In the new game, Peter Parker has more experience and is better at fighting crime. “Lego Star Wars 7” is set to launch at the end of June, delving into the adventures of Finn, Rey and Poe Dameron.

During Sony’s E3 2016 press conference, they announced that PlayStation VR will launch on Oct. 13, 2016. The system will cost $399 and include 50 titles at launch. Some upcoming VR titles include “Farpoint,” “Batman Arkham” and the “Star Wars Battlefront X-Wing Missions.”

More gameplay demos and trailers are set to be featured soon. With the barrage of gameplay demos and details revealed at Sony’s E3 2016 press conference, fans were definitely satisfied.
