‘Spider-Man’ News & Updates: Marvel Creates ‘Spider-Man’ Game Exclusive To PS4, Watch Trailer Here [Video]

Marvel teamed up with Insomniac Games to create a "Spider-Man" game exclusive to PS4. The big surprise was announced at E3 on Monday evening, simultaneously showing the first teaser trailer online.

The New 'Spider-Man'

Collider confirmed that the new "Spider-Man" game will not be the same character from the films. The game will feature a brand new and original "Spider-Man" story.

As described in the trailer, it is a different Peter Parker, who is more experienced at fighting big crimes in New York City. The character is also said to have conflicts between his personal life and career, while saving the city.

Meanwhile, a new "Spider-Man" recently appeared in "Captain America: Civil War." Tom Holland portrayed the young "Spider-Man," which came with a brand new costume. It is also "Spider-Man's" debut into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While the game has no official title or release date yet, "Spider-Man" has been confirmed to be available exclusively for PS4 users.

The 'Spider-Man' Game

Marvel promised to highlight "Spider-Man's" "think-on-his-toes" mentality in the game. The game is developed by Insomniac Games, which is the team behind "Sunset Overdrive" and "Ratchet & Clank," Tech Insider said.

The teaser trailer showed the new "Spider-Man" flying around New York City, taking down bad guys with his parkour skills and slinging actions.

However, Ted Price, president and CEO of Insomniac Games, clarified that the "Spider-Man" game is now way connected to the upcoming film "Spider-Man: Homecoming."

Price emphasized that the game will be focused on a more experienced Peter Parker, CBS Local reported.

The crystal clear quality of the game is also highly noted. Check out the teaser trailer for "Spider-Man" game in the video below.
