FIFA '13 Release Date In 10 Days: Demo Downloaded By Nearly 2 Million Gamers (Watch Trailer Here)

Electronic Arts announced 1.99 million people in 73 countries around the world downloaded FIFA '13 demo in just the three days after the demo launched earlier this week for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

According to the company this is a 29 percent increase compared to the first three days after the FIFA Soccer 12 demo last year. The game has already accumulated over 875,000 pre-ordered copies, which is up 37 percent year over year in Europe and a 62 percent increase year over year in North America.

The playable teams featured in the demo are AC Milan, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and Manchester City and allowed gamer's their first taste of the game's new features "attacking intelligence" that enables players to analyze space and alter runs to better capitalize on openings in the defense.

FIFA '13 includes "EA Sports Football Club Match Day" that connects FIFA '13 to the real-world season for the world's top leagues. This feature was even available in the demo of FIFA '13. The features mean that real-world occurrences such as injuries, and suspensions, are discussed in the game's in-game commentary.

FIFA Soccer 13 was rated 91/100 and called the "best football game ever" by GamesMaster Magazine in the UK, and the FIFA '13 demo received a 9.5/10 here on Game & Guide.

FIFA '13 will be available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Wii console, PC, PlayStation 2, Nintendo 3DS, and PSP and later this year on Nintendo Wii U system. FIFA '13 will release on Sept. 25 in North America and Sept. 28 worldwide.
