Last week, shots were fired when reality TV star and social media queen Kim Kardashian West published SnapChat videos of her husband, Kanye West on the phone with pop star and (former?) media darling, Taylor Swift, who seemed to be okay with West's song lyrics about herself.
She even thanked the rapper for calling her to tell her about the lyrics before releasing it into the world. Swift fired back via Instagram, with a post saying that she wishes to be removed from all the drama, and that what the Kardashian-Wests have done is "character assassination."
It seems that drama still follows Swift around despite her being off tour and with no music out. It can also be a way for her to stay in the headlines. Her at first amicable split with Scottish DJ Calvin Harris broke hearts all over the world, but it seemed that Harris felt betrayed when Swift's camp revealed how she was indeed a co-writer in Harris' Rihanna track, "This is What You Came For." Swift initially co-wrote under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg, but her representatives later admitted that Swift was indeed behind the track.
Harris seemed to be put off by her actions, taking to Twitter to blast his ex-girlfriend and even mention Katy Perry in reference to their beef. In a series of now-deleted tweets, he claimed that he was hurt by her actions and hopes that she would focus on her new relationship with actor Tom Hiddleston instead of picking fights. The last tweet in his rant is still published, wherein he wrote, "Please focus on the positive aspects of YOUR life because you've earned a great one."
