“Grimm” season 5 ended with Captain Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz) saved the life of Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) and that scene sent off mixed signals. Will the bad blood finally come to an end in "Grimm" Season 6?
TV Line reveals that this may not necessarily be the case. Apparently, Renard inadvertently saved Nick’s life but with some help from his daughter, Diana (Hannah R. Loyd). With the help of her supernatural powers, she used a doll to proxy her unwitting dad in "Grimm" Season 6.
No Nick-Renard reconciliation happening
With that angle, any reconciliation between the two former is practically nil. The bad blood will continue at least for the first three scripts of "Grimm" Season 6, as revealed by Giuntoli on EW.
"We've read the first three scripts. We're not friends in the first three scripts," said Giuntoli. “There’s no frenemies. It’s enemies.”
'Grimm' Season 6 to pick up from season 5 finale
Once the “Grimm” Season 6 unfolds, Nick and Renard will be standing over the Black Claw boss “Conrad Bonaparte” (Shaun Toub). What happens after that could be anything and it does seem hard to see how Nick will react to Renard saving his life.
Roiz reveals that his character will be joining the dark side of “Grimm” so this could explain why the two will continue on with their bad blood relationship. Good vs. evil happening in "Grimm" Season 6?
Rosalee's having a baby!
On a lighter side, other characters will be busy in "Grimm" Season 6 as well. Rosalee (Bree Turner) and Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) will be welcoming a new addition to the clan with the former’s pregnancy. Though that scenario may bring up some light moments, the fact remains that both will have to keep their guards up against the unknown.
Worth noting too is that the “Black Claw” could still be around next season. “Zuri” (Sharon Leal) didn’t necessarily die so there is a chance she re-emerges. “Grimm” season 6 is set to return in the Fall.
