Nintendo NX Latest News & Update: Nintendo Files for Patent Pertaining to the NX; Find Out What Are They Here

Three Patents Filed for the 'Nintendo NX'

As the release of the Nintendo NX nears, the company is now looking to patent some of its features in order to secure the console's copyrights. Nintendo apparently filed the patent application on the 29th of January 2016, but is only made known to public today (August 11, 2016).

Under the United States Patent Application 20160231773, the long and narrative patent description state at least three Nintendo NX patents mainly the Housing, the Movable Operation Section and the Movable Portion of the console. Along with the patent is the accompanying images of the patented concerns which you can see here.

One of the Nintendo NX patent includes that adaptation of a conventional accessory to the console and it will add new function to the console itself. As stated "there are techniques where an external controller as an accessory is connected to a connector provided on a controller of a game device. This enables a wider variety of game operations using two controllers."

Basically, the Nintendo NX is trying to picture it as simple as trying to connect a physical controller to a tablet wherein, instead of players using the surface of the tablet to navigate through the game, they get the extra physical controller, which is also removable whenever needed.

The Nintendo event will happen next month and fans can expect the Nintendo NX to be introduced. Although the Nintendo NX patent may never be revealed, it pays to know how it differs from the rest of the gaming consoles available in this generation.
