Ever encountered a wild rare Pokemon in "Pokemon GO?" Ever tried to catch a Ninetails or a Snorlax at such a low level and no matter how many different ways, maneuvers or no matter how "curved" you throw a ball at it, that Pokemon seems to always find a way to break free?

Well maybe the problem is not in the way you throw but with your PokeBall? Yes, there are several different kinds of PokeBalls in "Pokemon GO" but we will start with the easiest to obtain other than the normal PokeBalls a "Pokemon GO" trainer will use at the start of the game.

These PokeBalls are known as "Great PokeBalls" in "Pokemon GO." And in this article, we will give you tips about where and how you can get free Great PokeBalls!

How to get my first Great PokeBall

First, a "Pokemon GO" trainer must reach a certain level before starting to obtain and use Great PokeBalls. Specifically level 12, and as we all know, every time a "Pokemon GO" trainer steps up his level up a notch, freebies will always be a part of it. Great PokeBalls will be one of your freebies as Pokemons tends to be stronger, the higher you level is.

So you might be thinking how many freebies you get with every level after 12 in "Pokemon GO?" Don't worry as we got you covered. Basically you get Great PokeBalls as level up freebies from level 12 up to level 19. Now the number of Great PokeBalls given every time you level up is from 10 Great PokeBalls to 15 Great PokeBalls.

But what if your "Pokemon GO" trainer's current XP count is still below the required XP to level up and get freebies? Well, just the normal PokeBalls, you can try to get one's using the nearest PokeStop. However, PokeStops might not generate as much or rarely gives out Great PokeBalls so better use your balls wisely.
