NFL Thursday Night Football Buccaneers Vs Vikings Results Simulated In Madden NFL 13

Minnesota rallied in the final minutes of the game from their 20-yard line; the Vikings moved the ball into position to setup Blair Walsh for a 48-yard field goal with 15-seconds remaining. The kick sailed right through the uprights and gave the Vikings a 31-28 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on NFL Network's "Thursday Night Football."

Viking's quarterback Christian Ponder managed the game well and threw a first-quarter touchdown pass to Percy Harvin on the game's opening drive. He went 16 for 25 for 172 yards and one touchdown. The Vikings did not score another point in till the third quarter.

The Viking's defense struggled in the secondary and surrendered 350 yards through the air to Tampa Bay quarterback Josh Freeman. He threw four touchdown passes to three different targets. He was also sacked five times and threw one interception.

Freeman connected with Vincent Jackson for two scores and linked up in the endzone with Mike Williams and Dallas Clark for a touchdown apiece. Jackson had another big game and finished with seven catches for 134 yards, and Williams had four receptions for 89 yards.

The Buccaneers squandered a 21-7 lead in the second half, the Vikings took advantage of a Freeman interception to open the third quarter with an Adrian Peterson touchdown. Peterson ran the ball 26 times for 123 yards and scored three second half touchdowns on runs of 19, 22 and 9-yards.

With the game tied at 28-28, the Vikings got the ball after Jared Allen sacked Freeman on third and long to force a punt and give Minnesota the ball back with a little over two minutes remaining. The Vikings drove the ball down the field and kicked the game winning field goal to defeat the Buccaneers for their sixth victory of the season.
