'Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell': New Game Rumored in the Works; Michael Ironside to Return as Sam Fisher

A bombshell may have been dropped regarding Ubisoft's "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell". The entire franchise of the game has been under the radar for the longest time and with it, fans are officially thinking on whether the title is simply a rumor or could be a surprise in the making.

Being one of Ubisoft's more recognized franchises, "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell" released many titles in the past. As for the latest one, a supposed upcoming title started to go all over the web as a rumor; with the main man behind it acting as a hint.

According to PlayStation Lifestyle, a known NeoGAF user named Crossing Eden may have shined some light on the requested "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell" game. Not making too many mistakes in the past when it comes to leaks, the information is nearly considered accurate and believable, especially with Michael Ironside being brought up.

The quote stated, "Regarding other games, I haven't been involved with Steep or Wildlands, but I was surprised Splinter Cell didn't appear at E3. I know Ironside is back. He was in the studio, I said Hi to him and his daughter."

More details surfaced saying that Ironside was shooting a movie, leaking that someone on-set confirmed Ironside's agenda involves the rumored "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell." As per Gaming Bolt, Eden claimed to have seen Ironside during the Summer of last year, moreover with the sighting of the actor in Toronto for the shoot of the film "The Space Between" with Amy Jo Johnson.
