NFL Sunday Night Football Packers Vs Giants Results Simulated In Madden NFL 13- Aaron Rodgers Vs Eli Manning

Aaron Rodgers hit receiver Jordy Nelson for a 24-yards touchdown completion right in front of the crossbar with only 22 second remaining in the game as the Green Bay Packers defeated the New York Giants 31-24 on NBC's "Sunday Night Football."

The New York Giants could have extended the game on the previous play, but strong safety Antrel Rolle dropped a potential interception from Rodgers, who was hit on the pass by Jason Pierre-Paul.

On the final 84-yard drive Rodgers completed five straight passes for gains of 9, 12, 15, 25, and 24 yards. Rodgers was 25 of 37 for 336 yards with three touchdowns and an interception. His first touchdown pass was a 9-yard connection with tight end Jermichael Finley early in the first quarter that gave Green Bay an early 7-0 lead.

Finely caught four passes for 73 yards and a touchdown. Greg Jennings, who has been injured for most of the season and has only played in three games for the year, caught three passes for 38 yards with a touchdown.

The Packers were with out Charles Woodson Sam Shields and outside linebacker Clay Matthews.

The Giants answered right back as Eli Manning led New York 78-yards down the field that ended with a Manning to Victor Cruz for a 20-yard touchdown connection. Manning bounced back nicely from his recent mid-season slum as he went 31 of 44 for 382 yards and two touchdowns.

Ahmad Bradshaw ran for 51 yards and one touchdown on 19 carries. Hakeem Nicks added 107 yards on seven catches, while Cruz had five catches for 68 yards, including the 20-yard touchdown reception.

The two teams were pretty evenly matched and went into the locker room tied at ten a piece at the end of the first half. The two team went into the fourth quarter even with a 17-17 score and were tied 24-24 with two minutes remaining before Rodgers led the Packers on the final scoring drive.

The Giants sacked Rodgers six times and held the Packers to only 43 yards on the ground. Rodgers led Green Bay with 18 rushing yards.
