Grand Theft Auto V Release Date And News: Rockstar Says Official Cover Art Coming Later This Month For GTA 5

Rockstar Games has announced that the official box art for Grand Theft Auto V is coming soon.

"Stay tuned for lots more ahead, including more artwork and the unveiling of the game's official cover later this month," Rockstar wrote.

In a post on its Rockstar Newswire, the video game company said that there's "lots more ahead" for its upcoming open-world crime saga, including more artwork and the game's cover being revealed later this month.

The newswire entry features a compilation of all of the Grand Theft Auto V artwork that has been release to date. Gamers can download all of these artwork pieces as well as all of the game's released screenshot from Rockstar's gallery.

The updated gallery features all of the original illustrations released to date including "The Trunk," "Franklin and Chop," "Stop and Frisk" and "Vinewood." You can check out all of the illustration in our slideshow above.

As you can tell from the Vinewood sign in one of the pictures, GTA5 will take players back to the fictional state of San Andres and the state's fictional city of Los Santos. The city is a satirized clone of the American city of Los Angeles.

The game will feature a new set of missions for the curious type of gamer. These mission will be called Dynamic Missions and will focus on random encounter and scenarios that may lead to missions such as finding a car with dead bodies or picking up a strange hitchhiker. The new feature is being added to make the game more engaging during the downtime between missions.

Unlike previous games in the series, there will be three protagonists with each individual character having his very own separate life away from the main story. This means that each protagonist has his own friends, home and extracurricular activities.

Check out the awesome artwork in the slideshow and tell us what you think about them and what you are looking forward to most in the new game.
