The sixth installment of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series is expected to be revealed in 2018 contrary to the original 2017 schedule. Recent updates reveal that the highly anticipated sixth book will be delayed again. Readers will have to wait until 2018 before they can read it.

The author already informed his readers that he is still months away from finishing the book as he still needs to write hundreds of pages. It is said that "The Winds of Winter" is longer than the previous installments so more time is needed to finalize it. George R.R. Martin's team is still silent about its release. Any update regarding its publication will be announced on the writer's website.

On the bright side, "Game of Thrones: Enhanced Edition" gives information about "The Winds of Winter" has been released on Apple Store.
