'A Series Of Unfortunate Events' Air Date, Latest News & Update: Neil Patrick Harris Confirms Season 2? Netflix Uses CGI For Sunny?

Netflix viewers, both young and old, are excited for the arrival of "A Series Of Unfortunate Events" series. "ASOUE" aims to defy all preconceived notions and aims to catch the attention of those who haven't watched the movie or read the book series.

The Netflix adaptation of "A Series Of Unfortunate Events" is trying to balance two very important factors to make the series a success. First, the writers and producers must make sure that "ASOUE" on Netflix will not stray away from the plot of the book series. Second, the writers must make sure that first-time viewers can appreciate and understand "A Series Of Unfortunate Events" without necessarily having a background of the story.

'A Series Of Unfortunate Events' Netflix Adaptation Darker?

While "A Series Of Unfortunate Events" was primarily made for children, several reports claim that the Netflix adaptation may be a tad darker than the original movie. A darker version of "A Series Of Unfortunate Events" will not pose to be a problem though, as most of the viewers of Netflix are already in the right age. From the latest teaser of "ASOUE," viewers can get an overall feel of what the upcoming Netflix series is all about.

'A Series Of Unfortunate Events' Cast: Sunny A CGI?

Neil Patrick Harris' dual role in "A Series Of Unfortunate Events" as Count Olaf will follow his evil plot to end up with the Baudelaire children's inheritance. Violet Baudelaire will be played by Malina Weissman and Klaus Baudelaire will be played by Louis Hynes.

Sunny Baudelaire, who is depicted as a toddler in the books and the movie, will reportedly be a CGI in Netflix "A Series Of Unfortunate Events." The CGI part is understandable since Sunny Baudelaire but if "ASOUE" casts a real toddler to play the role of Sunny, the viewers will have no problems with that either.
